Questions about Security Camera Installation
How many cameras do I need?
Fewer than most quotes suggest, if they are placed well. Entrances and choke points beat scattered wide shots. We walk the property and plan coverage first, then tell you the count — not the other way around.
Wired or wireless?
Wired PoE, wherever it is possible. One cable carries both power and data, there is no battery to recharge, and the recording does not drop out because the Wi-Fi hiccupped. We use wireless only where running cable genuinely is not viable.
Is there a monthly fee?
Not for the systems we install as standard. Footage records to an on-site NVR that you own and can view remotely. Cloud storage is optional if you want an off-site copy.
Can I view the cameras from my phone?
Yes. We configure remote viewing on your phone and computer and walk you through it before we leave, including how to pull and export a clip.
Can you work with the cameras I already have?
Usually. We can repair, expand or take over an existing system — and we will tell you honestly when the existing hardware is not worth building on.
